Brewing Your Own is Just More Fun…
As much as I love the inspiration I obtain from all the great craft breweries around the country, I am always tickled to pop the top (or tap the keg) of a beer that no one else has ever had - one of my own creation and making. Somewhere around 5 years ago, I decided to make a few brews - my wife got me a starter kit for our wedding anniversary. I don’t think she knew what she was about the start. Although I’ve slowed down lately due to work, I made about 100 beers (batches, about 48 bottles per batch) - in a 3 year span. Now, that’s not INSANE, but it is busy….
I’d like to share the recipes the best of those. I’ll do one here, and the other two I’ll make the next posts… I love bitter beers - my hops are my friend - but the beer can’t be unbalanced…so here’s a beer that won some awards…and I enjoy greatly when I get to make it….
I called this one Hoppiness Starts At Home….
