With black ink refills – you can DIY and get down to less than $2 per cartridge. The color carts run about $3-4 to refill with his kits, depending. Bottles are sold in 6 packs and are VERY inexpensive (you pay for the bottle, shipping and handling – but not the ink.)
If you use Laser Printers at work – and can drill a hole, pour in powder, plug the hole, shake the canister – and insert it again – you can take your costs from $80/90 (up to $225-250) per 3000 copies to $89 for 6000 copies.
